Lawley Primary School Astro Turf Project
Following the construction of additional classrooms in 2010, the school was left with an unused and unsightly astro turfed area.
The school approached Mark to come up with some ideas to make the space more usable. Following discussions with the staff of how they would like to use the area a design was agreed.
Over the Summer holidays of 2011 Mark sourced local materials and commenced work. The garden/outdoor classroom was completed in time for the start of the new school year. This is now a space that can be used by the children all year round due to the utilisation of the astro turf in the design.
If you would like more information about the projects Mark has carried out at Lawley Primary School you can contact the Head Teacher- Carol Mcquiggin via her Email: carol.mcquiggin@taw.org.uk
